Denaturation

Cooking eggs is an example of denaturation.

Denaturation is the deterioration of the structure of protein-structured molecules, nucleic acids and enzymes due to reasons such as heat, light, radiation. As a result of this event, enzymes undergo changes. This event is described as irreversible. An example of denaturation is that as a result of scrambling the egg in the scrambled oven, the egg solidifies under the influence of heat and turns white.
