Restauran Schloss Falkenstein

Dear readers,

This time our restaurant trip was to the Falkenstein Castle Restaurant in the village of Niedergösgen in the canton of Solothurn.

The Service Staff escorted us to our place after being politely welcomed. At first, the atmosphere in the hall reminded us of an environment arranged in a bit Victorian style. But in any case, it was a very relaxing environment.

The Service Staff was Knowledgeable and Friendly. They informed us about the Menu facilities and the Naschmarkt Buffet concepts. We chose the number 3 special menu opportunity for ourselves. In this selection, we would open our appetite from the bastan meze buffet and then continue our meal with our main menu and close the day with the dessert buffet.

After our decision, we started our evening with our snacks. In the meantime, friends made wine selections to drink next to the meal. The decision was in favor of a Red Italian wine “ES – Primitivo di Manduria, von Gianfranco Fino” which was sure to suit the meat menus we had chosen.

The Appetizer Buffet was like a masterpiece that appealed to the eye and the palate. We started our meal by taking the delicacies on the serving plates lined up beautifully from each other. The range was almost enough to fill our stomachs with appetizers, but we left the business decision and saved ourselves in our main menu selection. (Among the ones we tried: Chicken fog, Salmon, Shrimp with Guacomole sauce, duck liver, Chinese spring roll, Eggplant wrapped in cheese, stuffed hot pepper with teze cheese, Artichoke with olive oil, etc.)

The main menu serving our meat and fish seemed to carry the signature of the Max Eichmann brain, who had previously had 18 Gault Millau and a michelin score, with green asparagus, baby potatoes and sauce on the side. Tongue fish with mashed potatoes and sauce on a spinach bed. The presentation was not very gaudy but simple but really great, the meats were cooked medium i.e. yâri my tongue was wonderfully cooked and very tasty.

Dessert Buffet:

The choice here was really quite difficult. In addition to the desserts, all of which looked beautiful from each other, there was also a mixture of cream, yogurt and fruit marmalade dessert that Sef Max eichman cooked in liquid nitrogen at -196° C, where he presented the example of Molecular Kitchen, with a sorbet köses. If we managed to put ourselves in the brakes on the Appetizers, I can’t say that exactly for the Dessert buffet.

I would say we thought about everything at the dessert buffet, but we overlooked the Calories topic.

We ended this wonderful evening with an expresso coffee. Next to our coffee came a special mini Gugelhupf cake. In fact, we could not even put our hands on our cake on so much dessert, I think the owners of the place are used to this, they packed our cake in a special package and gave it to us. Thanks to them, they packed one for each of us.

We were more than pleased with our visit to the Falkenstein castle restaurant. Sef Max Eichmann is a humble expert in business.

We recommend everyone who wants to come to the place with their family, business friends and guests, and you should definitely come once and try it out.

In the meantime, we recommend you to take a look at the souvenirs and wines in the Castle boutique.

Until our Biradahâki trip

Your competent taste team.
